• The Switch is region free. You can create up to 8 profiles and they can be set for different regions. "The Americas" is one region option, which includes Canada, United States, and Mexico. Any games purchased in digital format (download) are tied to the profile/account that was used to purchase them. So if you set your account to "The Americas" it will work fine in Mexico. If you want to play games from Japan you need to make a separate profile/account and set it to that region.
