Unfortunately you'll need two becasue it doesn't work like the online subscription. The code is for a specific account on a switch so if there are 2 switches you'll need two codes.

The pass is for 1 individual copy of Super Smash Bros Ultimate. But them sharing is actually onw of the best ideas in my opinion.

So if they each have a profile on the same switch only one profile would have access to it since it ties to the account it's downloaded for and not the game itself. That being said if they are sharing an account or playing at the same time it shouldn't be a problem. My brothers and I were always ok with knowing which profile had all the characters in multiplayer games like this.
