I believe just local storage or SD car vs the disk. Not sure why some games are cheaper to buy the disk though. Seems counterintuitive.

The physical one has the case and the game cartridge that you must insert into your Nintendo Switch in order to play. The digital one is a copy saved in your Switch memory or on your SD Card. Other than that, they both play exactly the same.
