“How will these sound as front height speakers (not mounted to wall but upside down on a high book shelf so that it’s angled down, about 18 feet away from listening position) to complete a 7.1 configuration? Will it sound good with Atmos?”

These sound great in any configuration I have 4 sets of these for my height speakers 5.2.8 and they are beautiful for atmos also look into aura 3d similar to atmos but works with every movie I have played so far.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My space is 24x16 I have (4) SVS Prime Elevations mounted on wall in 4 corners of room. I’m using as front and rear surrounds and the fill the room perfectly. I replaced 4 Bo$e jewel speakers and the PE blow them away.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They sound great of 6' and 18 feet is a big distance to cover with such small speakers. I have klipsch as my mains being driven by a marantz amp with 120 watts a channel. The klipsch floorstanding speaker would definitely cover that distance being powered by any receiver as long as it has a higher wattage.
