I own 2 r evolutions  5000s sb. These are everything the lowwer models  are, and then some. You want reference level subwoofers. Buy these all day long.  Clean, tight, hard hitting, tactile bass

Everything I've read says yes. Not many reviews to watch or read yet but everyone so far has said it's better than the 4000 series. Even the company president says it's on par with the 6000 ultra but sounds better. If I remember I'll put a review up in a couple of weeks. I have a pair coming on 8/20. I'm replacing some old Velodynes so I'm hoping for the best.
