• You will only need one transmitter. One of these transmitters can link up to 3 receivers each. I have a 2 sub system and I bought 2 of these sets. When I hooked them up, I found out I only needed one of the transmitters and a receiver for each sub. With how this wireless set works, with my setup, I could easily have 6 subs wirelessly connected to my AVR because it has 2 sub outputs. SVS is a fantastic brand. Highly recommend.
