• I have one of these and when the battery died, I wasn't able to peddle the bike, I tried and it was really tough.

• I mean you can but it's REALLY hard to petal when it's dead I've had mine for a few months now when I first got it I literally rode around the cott with it to text it out and battery life is excellent

• Yes u can but it's really slow and difficult to only pedal . This bike is great for pedal assist or just throttle. Riding it just like a bike isn't very satisfying or effective.
