QuestionI am curious if this system is accessible through a phone or tablet ..Also if there is some kind of cloud used .I would like to know if these is intergradable with a ring doorbell.

This can be integrated with DropBox to automatically upload stills and video. This will not work with Ring Doorbell or Ring products. Please let us know how we may further assist you, Thank you. - Answer Extra cameras can be found at the official Swann website, several other online retailers, and possibly right here at BB. After completing my initial install including connecting my DVR to my network, the DVR received a firmware update that added 4 IP Channels for a grand total of 24 channels. This update will now allow the system to expand beyond 20 wired cameras with an additional 4 WiFi enabled IP Cameras, or 4 Ethernet wired cameras. IP camera compatibility varies. I tested an indoor wifi camera with (Onvif, FTP, HTTP, uPnP) capability. This allows for most 3rd party software to operate this camera 24/7 without the need for a dedicated app. This type of IP Cam is required to work with this DVR. IP cameras must be connected to the router (wifi/ethernet) in order for the DVR to recognize and complete the setup of said IP Cam. I personally bought 4 Swann 1080p Wifi cameras to partner with this system. Unfortunately, the cameras I chose would not work with this system. The cameras were a stand alone system designed for app usage only. So buyer beware!! Also, if IP Cameras are added to your system, there is a setting in the DVR that changes the DVR to an XVR. This enables hybrid mode. Hope this helps

Cameras can be set to continuously record or based on the motion sensor. The system will have a scheduling function to help adjust to every security need. - Answer You can replace the hard drive with a larger unit, up to 4TB, cost is reletive to drive size and style. Camera mounting is very adjustable for ceiling or wall mounting.

QuestionI see where you can use HDMI cables or RGA cables from the DVR to a TV. My house is wired with CAT 5 cables to the TV. Will this system work? Is there some way through some connector to get the signal to the TV with this set-up?

- Answer Yes, you would need to use a balen to convert the signal at each end. One end goes to device side and the other on tv side. Just google video over CAT5.
