No microphone. There are other systems that offer voice. This one does not.

Best way to be sure is to use following process: decide resolution desired (1080p, 5MP, 4k); go to swann website and look at camera selection and note model numbers of cameras with desired resolution; read about each model number where it will clearly say if it has a microphone along with all kinds of info; then check surveilance systems which note the model number of the camera included. Match those model numbers with Best Buy model numbers. This is the only description I'm comfortable with relaying to you. Beware of major differences between the recorders provided with each surveilance system. x8580x is best.
