• Yes. Even though the camera can accept a separate DC 12V source if you decide to use it without an NVR, they are powered via ethernet when hooked up to the Swann NVR.

• The cameras are powered by a power source to its self. The system comes with a spliter for power which connects or powers 4 cameras at a time. The cables that come with the camera one cable is power and the other is video.
