Yes. It comes with a nvr abd HD. You need TV hooked up to base so you can utilize storage fully

Hi Todd. The hub includes a 64GB microSD Card which all of the cameras record back to. It is this card that is the 'local storage' being referred to. You can increase the card size yourself if you wish to, or even add an external or internal hard drive if you want additional capacity. If you choose to you also have the option to add free cloud backup of clips via a Dropbox account, or you have the option to subscribe to Swann's Secure+ cloud backup plans as well. - SD, Swann Team
