Hi LCRD. This camera only supports motion based recording as it is a battery powered device and so the battery would drain very quickly if it continuously recorded. You will need internet to access clips on the camera. If you wish to record continuously you would need one of our hard drive based DVR or NVR systems. Alternatively there are some mains powered WiFi cameras out there from other brands which may offer 24/7 cloud recording if you pay them a monthly subscription. -SD, Swann Team
