Hi Debbie. This DVR system uses coax cables and BNC connections, however the cameras are a fixed lens type and do not optically PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom). If you're interested we also sell more premium NVR systems and some of these include a Pan Tilt camera which has the model number NHD-900PT. -SD, Swann Team
