Hi Adrienne. Each camera in this system must be wired to the back of the NVR box via a network cable. We include one 60ft/18m cable for each camera in the box, but you can also purchase longer cables separately if you need a longer cable distance. Network cables can be run up to around 300ft (90m) without any loss in quality. -SD, Swann Product Management
