Hello Oyster, Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. The cameras included in this kit have two-way audio features. The audio is communicated back to the recorder through the same Ethernet cable used for power. The longest recommended run from the camera to the recorder is 300 feet. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You don't need an audio cable. You can use the app to communicate both ways with the cameras. You can purchase longer cables from Swann. Or if you have extra cables you can purchase a coupling.
