“We installed Cat5 cables when we built our home intending to install a system. Does this system work with Cat5 cables? It stated it has BNS(?) cables and not sure if they would be compatible to switch out.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This camera system uses the included cables and is not compatible with cat5 for the dvr to camera wires. The only place cat5 will work is on the network connection of the dvr.
