Hi there! You may need to check with your state to see if a license is required in your state. We recommend asking your local DMV, as although there are state regulations, some smaller towns and cities may have additional municipal regulations in addition to state regulations. Hope this helps.

If you don't have a license and desire only to drive a moped, a Class 1 license will meet your need. It allows the holder to drive only mopeds, and both a knowledge and a practical test are required.
