If you plan on playing this in handheld mode or tabletop mode, then I would say wait for this new model. Keep in mind though that like with everything else these days, it's going to get picked up by scalpers using bots so it may be hard to get for a while. However, if you plan on only playing docked on your TV exclusively, then there is little reason to get the new model.

Please try again later.Hi, I believe it would beneficial to get the new one because, This new system features a vibrant 7-inch OLED screen and a wide adjustable stand for easy viewing in tabletop mode. Plus, this console features 64GB internal storage, enhanced audio, and a dock with a built-in wired LAN port. But truffully the switch nowadays should be priced only at like $200 to $250 because since it’s real ease back in 2017, the parts for it have become a lot cheaper. But even that said, this comes with twice the storage, supports 4K tv, and has a bigger screen. So I would suggest waiting to buy the new one!
