1) The MicroSD card (SanDisk) isn't required. 2) The switch only has 32GB of internal storage while the MicroSD gives you 128GB more storage which I recommend. 3) The accidental insurance is 100% worth it, if the device is accidentally damaged then it's replaced. Cost is $50 for 2 years of protection, if it's broken then you paid $50 for a new $300 console. (Please ask at purchase or talk to a Geek Squad member for all the details of what it covers)
