• I think it’s safe to assume all games, especially first party games, will be fully playable on lites going forward.

• It's made for games that support handheld mode. It's safe to assume that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will be playable on the Nintendo Switch Lite.

• The games have to support handheld mode. If the game requires the controllers to be removed, you can only play them on the Lite if you have separate BlueTooth controllers. You can also not plug this into a TV. http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2020/04/guide_which_switch_games_dont_work_with_nintendo_switch_lite

• If it's not playable in handheld mode you can always buy joycons and still connect them

• Yes it will most game work just like the regular switch some don’t but it’s a small number of them

• Hello, yes, all games "work" on the switch lite. All handheld games will work. (check the back of the box or scroll down on eShop to check if your game supports handheld mode). For games that do not work with handheld mode, such as Ring Fit Adventure, you will need separate controllers. You must also have a charger for the separate controllers.
