I think it’s safe to assume all games, especially first party games, will be fully playable on lites going forward.

The games have to support handheld mode. If the game requires the controllers to be removed, you can only play them on the Lite if you have separate BlueTooth controllers. (check the back of the box or scroll down on eShop to check if your game supports handheld mode).
