• No, it's not backwards compatible at all, and doesn't even have an optical drive regardless.

• Unfortunately it 's not backwards compatible with anything, and doesn't have an optical drive regardless. Other than having new, slightly enhanced versions of a few existing Wii U games, it's an entirely different library.

• No it's not backwards compatible. It doesn't have a disk slot and uses cartridges instead.

• No. The Nintendo switch uses a different game cartridge than any DS consoles so you wouldn’t even be able to fit an old game into the game slot.
