On the cheapest pay-as-you-go you could keep your phone alive for $3/month, and then every minute above the quota (30 minutes and/or texts combined) will cost you 10 cents. That's 470 minutes and/or texts in a month. But if you can purchase $50 cards monthly, there are plans with unlimited minutes, texts and some GBs of 4G LTE data for that price
