“Conversational sound clarity How good is this phone's sound clarity with conversations? Can both parties hear each other's voices as well and as clearly as when talking on a land line? Or nearly so? I talk to people on both sides of the country, and use a land line to hear them better than with my current cell phone. I am looking to replace the two phones i have now and i need a cell phone that gives clear sounds for conversations. Does such a thing exist? Is this the right phone for me? Any info and insights would be appreciated. Thanks to all.”

I can't answer vs. landline because I don't have one, but I bought this as a gift for a friend, and when she calls me the voice quality is as clear as my step-sister, who calls from Hawaii on an Iphone 5s, or any of my S5 carrying buddies. As with any cell phone, location is infinitely more important than model -- cell phone signal strength can vary widely between neighborhoods or even within a few feet depending on satellite position.
