While all of our insulated stainless steel products can technically hold hot liquids, we do not recommend using this tumbler for hot drinks. Sipping hot liquids through a straw lid may cause injury, and the pressure from heat can also cause the lid to leak. If your primary use is for hot beverages, we recommend our Traveler Leakproof Coffee Mug. The Traveler was designed specifically for coffee and tea. It features a contoured lip for comfortable sipping and provides a slower, aerated flow that makes drinking hot beverages safer and more enjoyable.
