While all of our insulated stainless steel products can technically hold hot liquids, we do not recommend using this tumbler for hot drinks. Sipping hot liquids through a straw lid may cause injury, and the pressure from heat can also cause the lid to leak. If your primary use is for hot beverages, we recommend our Traveler Leakproof Coffee Mug. The Traveler was designed specifically for coffee and tea. It features a contoured lip for comfortable sipping and provides a slower, aerated flow that makes drinking hot beverages safer and more enjoyable. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It can keep drinks hot for around 6-12 hrs, depending on how full it is and how often you open the lid. It will keep warm for 8-12 hrs. Because it's double-wall vacuum insulated, the heat retention is similar to a Stanley or Hydro Flask. the Onyx powder-coat exterior stays cool to the touch even when the inside is hot. One thing to know is the straw is not made for very hot liquids.
