“How does it hold up with hot drinks?”

• Hi, thank you for reaching out! The Takeya 40oz Straw Tumbler With Handle is designed to keep drinks cold for up to 24 hours. While all of our insulated stainless steel products can technically hold hot liquids, we do not recommend using this tumbler for hot drinks. Sipping hot liquids through a straw lid may cause injury, and the pressure from heat can also cause the lid to leak. If your primary use is for hot beverages, we recommend our Traveler Leakproof Coffee Mug. The Traveler was designed specifically for coffee and tea. • It’s for cold drinks. It doesn’t say anything about using it for hot drinks on the instructions.
