Will this work for an a6700? null

Very well. Works beautifully on my a6600 and am planning to purchase the a6700 to pair with for my wildlife photos. I also use the Sony 70-350g and find this Tamron slightly better for wildlife. Gets you considerably closer to your subject. Just be aware it is heavy and at 750mm on an aps-c camera it is hard to hold steady.
