Yes it is used as a personal briefcase and it does fit under an airline seat.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it could.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This item fits under the middle seat only--it will not fit under the aisle or window seat. One needs to put it in the overhead compartment. Also, the dimensions are not correct. The total linear dimensions are approximately 42 inches according to tag on the actual product from the manufacturer, Targus. Best Buy has it labeled on their website under specifications so that the dimensions add up to 36 inches which could be considered a personal item. However, technically, if that were the case, one could take this case as your personal item to be stowed under your seat and also a carryon item. But again, the dimensions are not correct. I believe that the dimensions provided by Best Buy are for the inside measurements. Therefore, this case cannot be considered a personal item. Of course you can use it as a carryon as it is within the required dimensions for a carryon, but if you were thinking of taking a small suitcase onboard with a max of 45 linear inches as directed by the airlines, along with this laptop case, you would need to check one of these items. What a bummer!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should as long as you do not stuff it full.
