Yes it is and can be used as an kick stand as well. Very different multiple ways of using it.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The case adds weight so for me it's a little heavy to hold with one hand for any length of time. The rotating feature does not get in the way. It will stand up by itself on the case so normally I just prop it on lap or whatever.
