• The Targus - Trax Laptop Sleeve - Black would not be the right fit for your laptop, too small. It only fits a laptop of 15 x 10 in.

• Not waterproof but splash resistant. I don't think they make sleeves that are waterproof or anything i would trust. I hate to say it but buy some good glad or hefty ultra strong kitchen bags and wrap your laptop in that. Garbage bags are some of the best waterproofing.
