Yes it should because this covers back part does not come up far enough to affect a screen protector

Yes the glass protector is flat on the screen. The case surrounding the iPad wraps around the outside like a portfolio.

By now you have probably already purchased a case for your iPad. But in answer to your question: Yes. The Targus case will fit with a screen protector - no problem.
