“I have At&t u-verse in 3 seperate rooms w/ 1 main box and 2 wireless, I need this for a spare room, I think I can cast those channels from my phone without much trouble but will it require an HD antenna since I won't be ordering a other wireless box?”

This TCL TV has a coaxial located on the back of the TV near the other inputs. By connecting an antenna you can receive over-the-air channels. However, the reception depends on the signal strength.
