Yes, as you can see, thank goodness there is a way to turn off that stupid light.
Unfortunately, there is no way to stop that ridiculous light from blinking when the TV isn't online. I choose to turn my wifi off when I'm not using it. I had to reset my TV to factory settings and I'm using a roku stick. Although it defeats the purpose of paying for a Roku TV, at least that worked, I was tempted to take a sledge hammer to it.

Yes of course! If you follow these steps (click the home button to take you to the home screen, go to settings, go to system, go to power), you will find an option to turn off the standby LED light. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

Close your eyes when you sleep, it helps, plus really, you can barely notice the light.
