“I'm ordering this for a bedroom..... Do you feel like you need a sound bar for this just for use in a bedroom? It will primarily be for streaming the news or maybe a tv show. It won't be used for anything else and it won't be a primary tv.”

I don't need a sound bar for it. But be forewarned, if you are buying this to stream from your computer to the TV via the built in Google TV, make another choice. You will need to use an external Google chromecast device. Streaming directly from a computer/phone, etc to the tv without using an external device is unacceptable. The video playback is slo-mo which the audio playback is normal. You end up hearing the audio for the next show or commercial long before you see it. If you plan on just using it for streaming from the apps on the TV, it's fine.
