all apps are free to download. so if you have HBO or amazon, CBS youtube tv any of them you just download the app and sign into if you pay for the service. If you pay for tv you just sign into your provider when you log into the app.

Some content is free while other content is subscription based or pay-per-view. You can go to www.Roku.com/whats-on to see what streaming channels and apps are offered through the Roku Channel Store.
