“Just purchased this TV at Best Buy - and I'm very happy with it so far. If I unplug it (or hook it up to a switched power strip) will it lose it's settings if I cut power to it? I'm trying to keep the number of "vampire" appliances down to a minimum.”

• If you disconnect the power, the TV will still save all of your settings and setup. The only way the TV will erase these settings is if you factory reset the TV. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

• It is very likely that the tv will default to factory settings. I do not believe it is using much power when turned off. My suggestion is to unplug other appliances, etc. Not the TV
