“On the remote for my mother's TCL, 55" Class 4 Series LED 4 K UHD, Model 55S434, everything works, but suddenly, on the remote, she cannot channel up and down. All the other buttons work fine; ie. volume works fine etc. I changed the batteries.”

If less than a year old, then contact the manufacturers for a new remote. If not, purchase a "universal" remote and program it to your TV. Good Luck
