“Can this TV be set up without the 38.4" stands? That is, can it be set flat on its base?”

• The TV must be used either with the feet that come with it or an alternative stand/wall mount. It cannot stand by itself without additional support. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

• Not a wise decision if doing so. The base is provided for a reason. If you want your television to stay in place and not be knocked over, USE THE BASE or HANG IT WITH A WALL MOUNT.
