The TV will see a hotspot as a wireless network, and connect to it as you would any other (with your password protection, etc.) Please note that the strength of your hotspot connection (LTE, 4G etc.) will impact the streaming performance of any device. Additionally, if you do not have unlimited data, using your phone as a hotspot may incur addition charged through your cellphone provider. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You should be able too but you most likely have a data cap on your hot spot . If so it would cost you alot if you exceeded your cap or they would throttle your speed down making it useless to stream video.
