• Our TCL TVs do not have DVR capabilities. However, if you connect a USB Drive to your TV you can access Live TV Pause. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

• It has live TV pause up to 30 minutes, although I have not tried it yet. It does not record by itself that I'm aware of. It has a USB port that it says you can use to view pictures and what not so I'm pretty sure it's hard drive compatible but it may have some limitations.
