QuestionI owned a 4 series TCL that the screen would have a dim, eerie glow after turning off. Seen only at night, but it was in the bedroom so was apparent. Anyone see this on this qled series?

QuestionThe picture looks great when streaming, but when I use the cable box, the picture looks kind of dark and not crisp. I have adjusted the picture settings but it did not help. What's the best way to fix this?

- Answer Currently, our Roku based TVs do not support Bluetooth. If you are trying to connect a sound bar or speakers you can use the Optical port, or the HDMI ARC port. For Headphones, there is a Headphone jack on the back of the TV, or you can download the Free Roku app for private listening. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

QuestionHow long is the power cable for this model? I just bought an open box one that was missing the cable, and want to make sure I'm getting a comparable replacement.

- Answer Although the 6' power cable is standard... It's a very common 120volt NA.. appliance power cable..... They sell longer ones at most electronic retailers.... And are cheap. You will have no problem finding one. Worst case you could also pick up an indoor rated black short maybe a 6'/2meter extension cord. I would make sure both your electrical outlet and ant ext. Cord are grounded I would STRONGLY suggest a grounded surge protected power strip. With electronics... And yes I know the TV itself does not have an earth ground conductor. Yet if you can take these simple precautions bringing power UP TO your TV or electronic device. To be safe. Good luck. Hope all goes well for you.

QuestionWhat is the power input for this? Just 120v @ 60Hz, or does it support 120-240v? I'm about to move to Australia, and I'm trying to check if I can use it as-is, or if not, whether it would work with a step-down transformer running at 120v @ 50Hz.

- Answer It may greatly depend on what continent you purchased the TV .... Alot of Electrical appliances DO HAVE a 120v/240v switch typically located nearest the power supply... However I DO NOT have one on my 2020 TCL 55" MODEL 635... there may be one internal. But as soon as you take any panels off your set you will void the warranty.... Much safer and easier to look for an adapter they are out there. The great staff at Best Buy can probably point you in the right direction. Good luck✌️

Question55R635 TCL phone support says that TV volume/mute control will not control that function to a soundbar connected by way of optical connection. Is this a hardware issue or one that might be overcome by firmware update? Only through HDMI ARC connection?

QuestionDoes this tv have audio sync issues when using a sound bar like other Roku TV's have had. Plan on using a 5.1 sound bar Wich is sound bar, subwoofer, and 2 rear speakers.

- Answer I have an audio synch issue with the TV speakers which carries over to the surround sound system (Yamaha A/V receiver with KEF speakers). Whether I use them together or separately does not matter. We get sound a little before the appropriate video so everything appears "dubbed". Tech support has not had a solution yet but will try again tomorrow.
