• This specific TV is actually a new TCL Roku TV that was first released mid 2018, so there is no 2017 equivalent. This TV features 4K UHD resolution, HDR, Dolby Vision support, and an easy to navigate Roku operating system. Thank you, TCL Customer Support

• The TCL 55 inch model 55s515 is different than the 55s517 only in that the 517 has a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack built into the remote and that the 515 remote is infrared so it must be pointed at the TV to function.
