IR remote stinks. Range is very short and must be aimed directly at the bottom middle of the tv. Probably could use one remote for two TVs with little issue since the remote stinks. .Go to ROKU.com and buy the tv remote for $30 which uses a direct connection through Wi-Fi. Each Wi-Fi remote is programmed specific for the tv just like the Roku app works for the tv.

Also you can download the Roku app to your smartphone and completely control your tv with your phone. There is a section in the app that makes your phone a smart remote. It also has to directly connect to the tv via Bluetooth. So I know in that way, only one tv can be controlled at a time. Definitely worth the price!! Tv is super underrated. Unless you want the most up to date screen tech on the market.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the TVs are placed right next to each other, you will likely experience interference with the remote controlling both TVs. To prevent this, you would either need to block the IR sensor on one or both of the TVs. Alternatively, you can utilize the free Roku mobile app as a remote to control each TV individually. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
