“I'm confused about the Dolby Atmos Sound. Is this part of the TV speakers or is it coding for soundbars? I just saw a review by SOUND & VISION that said the the idea of TV speakers producing Dolby Atmos Sound was unlikely.”

Hello, The 8 series is indeed able to provide Dolby Atmos sound from both the internal speakers and also pass on to external Dolby Atmos sound systems. The content of course needs to support this as well. -TCL Customer Support
