Is there any other way to get Bluetooth connectivity other than through the Roku phone app? When you use the phone app do you still get the sound quality? null

You can easily find a BT transmitter online for under $30. May also need proper aux out headphone cable. Plug cable into 3.5mm headphone jack in back of TV, then the other end 3.5mm plug into transmitter. Then pair wireless headphones like any other BT device.

Our TCL Roku TVs do not currently support Bluetooth. However, you can download the free Roku app on your smart phone or tablet to use voice search, voice control, and experience private listening. To enjoy private listening you simply click private listening in the app, and attach headphones to your smart phone or tablet. Or you can use the 3.5 mm headphone jack in the back of the TV to connect standard headphones. Hope this helps! Thank you, TCL Customer Support

what exactly are you trying to connect? On the Series 8 in combination with my soundbar, I can only use Dolby Atmos through HDMI ARC port,
