The issue with the Dull, Dark Contrast picture on the 65Q825 was due o the Amazon Fire TV 4K Display settings. I had it set to "Adaptive", then switched it to "Always HDR" and that changes the picture to a nice bright HDR picture. However, because it was now set to "Always HDR" , every programming was showing "Dolby Vision" displayed and that is not what I wanted. So I then switched the Fire TV 4K back to "Adaptive" in the Display, and the picture remained bright in HDR as expected, while displaying the proper HDR format for the program material. I saw a slight glitch on the TV screen when I back out of the HDR program/movies to the program information/cover box which was probably due to the television switching from HDR to non-HDR and the HDMI interface. Other than that now resolved issue. The 4K and HDR picture on this television is spectacular, outstanding and bright..

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The answer is very simple and has nothing to do with firestick. To fix this, remove firestick from the HDMI port. Then, using your television's tools, increase the brightness and contrast for the port. Once this is done, plug firestick back into the port you just adjusted and now the display is perfect. It really is that simple.
