This is technically the 2019 model, but the ones being built in 2020 supposedly have a smaller chance of some sort of defect. This is just from reports and reviews I have read. I have had absolutely no problems with mine. Now for some bad news. It doesn't have a very wide viewing angle. The viewing angle is definitely big enough that if you are sotting at the far end of the couch, it should look fine. But if you are looking at it from somewhere off to the side, it does look pretty muddy. From what I have read, and from my own experiences, once you pass 45° the image will darken and become muddy pretty quickly the more of an angle you get.
