What is meant by 200+ dimming zones ? null

Instead of being lit by leds at the edge or edges of the set or by a single light source behind the screen it has small light sources arrayed behind the screen. With an array of lights it is possible to more precisely control the light when the scene requires darkness in small areas of the screen. More zones is better. My old tv came with 32 zones. 200 is a significant improvement.

The Q7 is available in sizes from 55” to 85”, and has Full Array PRO Local Dimming with Up to 200+ Dimming Zones with a proportional number of zones in each size. Hope this help! Thank you, TCL Customer Support
