There are 2 positions to put the feet. U can use the wider feet position or the more narrow feet position. There are knockouts you will need to break off, relax they are meant to be popped out with a screwdriver to allow the screws to be inserted to the more narrow position. No problem at all on a 70” tv stand at all.

The two placements would be 64.8 inches wide for the traditional position and 35.1 inches wide for the narrow position. The ability to adjust feet varies from model to model. Hope this helps!
