Until the red light goes out. How long that takes depends upon how long you have used the headphones. If the battery is completely drained, they should recharge in less than two hours.

I charge mine for at least an hour..To answer how long it would take to go from a dead battery to fully charged I'm guessing about two hours give or take..Or about as much time it would take to charge an older smartphone..
